Role Overview:

As a Technical Support Engineer II, you will assist customers with technical issues via email, chat, and phone. This role requires problem-solving skills, the ability to research and debug issues independently, and strong communication abilities. The ideal candidate should have programming knowledge and a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science or Engineering.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  • Ask targeted questions to identify the root cause of issues
  • Track and resolve system issues within agreed time limits
  • Provide guidance to customers through phone, email, or chat until issues are resolved
  • Escalate ongoing support issues to higher management in the Technical Support or Engineering Department
  • Refer to internal or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
  • Ensure all issues are logged and managed within timeframes
  • Prepare accurate reports and document solutions in the form of manuals or knowledge articles
  • Perform basic code analysis and debug projects to troubleshoot coding issues
  • Design mapping flows based on customer requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and write code in at least one programming language (C#, Java, Python, etc.)
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Familiarity with relational databases and knowledge of SQL concepts (e.g., JOIN, aggregation)
  • Experience with Linux environments, Cloud infrastructure, or DevOps is a plus
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a client-facing (technical) role
  • Solid understanding of APIs
  • Knowledge of data models and querying
