Job Description

CCTech is seeking a motivated and technically curious DevOps Intern to join the Cloud Infrastructure team. This role provides hands-on exposure to AWS-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, monitoring systems, and cloud cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining AWS-based cloud infrastructure for simulationHub applications.
• Monitor cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Support cost optimization strategies including rightsizing and storage lifecycle management.
• Work with IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Help create, enhance, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers for smooth deployments and environment consistency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups.
• Prepare documentation for infrastructure setups, workflows, and best practices.
• Assist in maintaining logs, alerts, and dashboards for operational health monitoring.

Requirements

Must Have

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing (preferably AWS).
• Familiarity with Linux fundamentals, networking basics, and DevOps concepts.
• Understanding of CI/CD and version control (Git).
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Nice To Have

• Hands-on exposure to AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of IaC tools: Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell).
• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration.
• Interest in cloud performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins.
