Job Description

BrowserStack is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our remote team based in Mumbai. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies to enhance our infrastructure, improve automation, and ensure a seamless software testing experience for our clients.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience: 1-3 years in DevOps.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Python and Bash (or similar Unix shell).
  • Working experience with Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
  • Experience with Nagios, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of virtualization tools like KVM, ESXi (good to have).
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and networking concepts.
• Skills:
  • Self-motivation and a strong drive to learn complex infrastructure details.
  • Creative problem-solving and aggressive diagnosis skills.
  • Strong startup mentality with a high willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on AWS Kubernetes to manage our growing fleet of clusters globally.
• Identify and improve our frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Lead incident response efforts, collaborate with teams to resolve issues, and minimize downtime.
• Participate in on-call rotation to address infrastructure issues quickly.
• Provide customer support, help optimize performance and reliability of workloads.
• Contribute to improving platform capabilities, focusing on reliability and scalability.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical audiences.
