Blackbaud is hiring a DevOps Software Engineer to contribute to the development of our cloud-based solution delivery platform. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle, leveraging the latest in DevSecOps technologies to build secure, scalable, and world-class applications for the nonprofit sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Suggest application and process improvements to enhance performance and client experience.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and the maintenance/support of the solution.
• Work with product management to understand and document requirements.
• Collaborate on technical design with fellow engineers.
• Stay current with technical developments and implement UI/UX design concepts.
• Ensure web standards and accessibility compliance.
• Deliver high-quality, production-grade code.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft stack: C#, .NET.
• Operational excellence in software delivery platforms.
• Kubernetes experience (AWS/Azure), including logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Angular development experience along with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Strong experience with SQL Server or Cosmos DB.
• IAM (Identity & Access Management) solutions experience.
• Familiarity with Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of RESTful services and public/internal API development.
• Git and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Object-oriented software engineering practices.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience with enterprise email systems like Postfix/SMTP (plus).
• Available for production incident support on a 24x7 basis as needed.

• Managing public APIs and developer community involvement.
• Designing cloud-native data stores.
• Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or similar.
