Position Overview

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure with a focus on Terraform, Kubernetes, GitOps/ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines, and more. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes/CloudRun/GCP Compute
• Implement GitOps practices with ArgoCD
• Build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Collaborate with dev teams to integrate Git and version control
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
• Apply security best practices and compliance standards
• Participate in on-call support for infrastructure outages
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP)
• Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking
• Knowledge of DevOps security and industry best practices

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to lead or direct engineering teams
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
• 8–15 years experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
• Experience deploying mission-critical workloads on GCP
• Prior experience setting technology standards and practices
