Job Overview:

• The role is part of a small software team in Ametek’s India office, collaborating with engineers in New Jersey (NJ), USA.
• Focus on design, development, and support of software for Phantom Cameras, including a Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Software Development Kit (SDK) for video and image processing.
• The current GUI is developed in C++, Qt, and QML, while the legacy UI is in C# and the SDK is built using C/C++.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is releasing and supporting the SDK using C/C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Work on desktop applications and libraries in C#, Qt, and QML as needed.
• Collaborate with the NJ software team, requiring work during a few evening hours (2-3 times a week).
• Adapt to changing priorities and ensure effective coordination between India and US teams.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and maintaining existing code.
