Job Description
We are seeking a skilled API Platform Engineer to design, build, operate, and maintain our API platform and CI/CD pipelines. You will work with Kubernetes infrastructure, Kong API Gateway, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure) to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable API delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain APIs adhering to industry best practices
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
- Operate Kubernetes infrastructure with a focus on secure networking and API exposure
- Manage and optimize Kong API Gateway for API governance, monitoring, and security
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development, security, and operations teams
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliability
- Establish and enforce best practices for API lifecycle management
Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of experience in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Strong Kubernetes infrastructure and networking skills
- Hands-on experience managing Kong API Gateway
- Skilled in Docker and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Helm
- Solid API development experience and knowledge of API best practices
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud environments
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Fluent English proficiency
