Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python
• Build and deploy RESTful APIs for client applications and third-party integrations
• Implement AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for infrastructure automation
• Work with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS)
• Optimize backend performance and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure security, scalability, and high availability of applications
• Collaborate with frontend teams for API integration
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Monitor production systems and resolve issues efficiently

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.)
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and cloud services
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control (Git)

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless applications
• Familiarity with GraphQL APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of security best practices in backend development
