Role Overview

Join the DCC's DevOps community as a Developer Intern and help develop automation solutions for digital applications. Work within Agile teams and gain real-world experience across the DevOps and development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. DevOps & CI/CD Automation:

• Learn and contribute to CI/CD pipeline setups using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Ansible.
• Support development and operations workflow automation.

2. Test Automation & Quality Assurance:

• Create automated tests with Cypress, Postman, or Rest Assured.
• Assist in debugging and defect tracking using Jira.

3. API & Web Application Development:

• Help build and test REST APIs.
• Contribute to frontend (React, Vue) and backend (Node.js, Python, Java) development.

4. Cloud Integration:

• Gain hands-on exposure to AWS and GCP environments.
• Support deployment and infrastructure automation.

5. Test Environment Management:

• Set up and monitor test environments using scripting and tools.

6. Agile Team Collaboration:

• Work within sprints and collaborate with developers, testers, and engineers.

7. Tool Evaluation & Research:

• Research emerging tools and suggest improvements for workflows.

8. Defect Management:

• Learn to document and manage defects throughout the lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Foundational Skills:

• Understanding of programming concepts.
• Familiarity with web app development.
• Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, Angular is a plus.
• Interest in testing and automation.
• Eagerness to learn DevOps (Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible).
• Willingness to explore cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

Education:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or related field.

Soft Skills:

• Proactive and eager to learn.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
