Job Description:
AgileEngine, recognized among the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies and a top-ranked dev shop, is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to manage and evolve cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines in a highly regulated healthcare environment. This role is ideal for experienced DevOps and SRE professionals looking for high-paying IT roles with cutting-edge technologies like Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.

You will work closely with global teams, maintain HIPAA and GDPR compliance, and support mission-critical systems related to healthcare data transfer and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Configure and troubleshoot secure VPN tunnels (IPsec), SFTP endpoints (AWS Transfer Family), and routing
• Support Electronic Health Records (EHR) integration and customer connectivity
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident management and resolution
• Optimize GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments
• Collaborate across distributed DevOps and engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and internal security standards

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• 4–6 years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure support
• Expertise with IPsec VPNs including authentication and pre-shared keys
• Experience with AWS VPN gateway setup, VPC peering, and subnet design
• Proficient in Linux networking troubleshooting tools
• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
• Experience supporting secure SFTP services and cloud endpoint provisioning
• Comfortable working in regulated environments with structured escalation processes
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to EHR systems like Mirth and IRIS
• Familiarity with legacy CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Codefresh)
• Background in healthcare or medical device industries
• Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation and diagnostics
