Responsibilities
- Ensure near-zero downtime using self-healing automation and monitoring tools
- Design and deploy scalable, automated cloud infrastructure (focus on GCP)
- Apply SRE principles: SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, and resilience planning
- Work with tools like Terraform, Python, GKE, Prometheus, and Datadog
- Automate tasks and improve system reliability for live services at scale
- Collaborate with Google engineers and global clients to resolve cloud issues
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Document processes, improve knowledge base, and contribute to internal tooling
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Linux, networking, Kubernetes, cloud architecture
- 2+ years of Google Cloud experience (preferred), AWS/Azure experience a plus
- Proficient in Python for automation; experience with scripting and APIs
- Strong knowledge of Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools
- Experience with system troubleshooting across application, infrastructure, and network layers
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum/Kanban software development life cycles
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
