Job Description:
Zynga, a global leader in interactive entertainment and a label of Take-Two Interactive, is hiring a Software Engineer for their Analytics Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale, distributed cloud data infrastructure supporting some of the world’s most popular mobile and social games.

This role focuses on building and maintaining petabyte-scale data pipelines, ETL workflows, and scalable cloud data platforms. You will collaborate with a 120+ person analytics org servicing 1500 team members globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and backend systems
• Build and manage PB-scale data infrastructure
• Detect anomalies in large data sets and resolve issues in workflows
• Follow best DevOps & Software Engineering practices for reliability and performance
• Collaborate with geographically distributed engineering teams

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years in Data Engineering with focus on cloud-based or big data systems
• Strong programming in SQL and Python or any JVM-based language
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (Redshift, Lambda, Kinesis, RDS, EKS/ECS)
• Familiarity with data modeling, lineage tracking, and governance tools
• Exposure to Airflow, Kafka, DataHub, and similar open-source data tools
• Proficient in working with relational, NoSQL, and in-memory storage systems

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of data observability, monitoring, and logging systems
• Experience with data security, access policies, and compliance
• Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams
