Job Summary
ZettaMine Labs is hiring an experienced Linux System Administrator to join their core infrastructure and operations team. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of experience managing Linux environments, monitoring systems, automating tasks, and ensuring uptime for critical production infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to work with leading-edge cloud and virtualization technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of systems
- Perform OS patching, upgrades, and backups
- Manage and troubleshoot services like Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NFS, Samba
- Automate tasks using Bash and Python scripting
- Configure firewalls, SELinux, auditd, and security policies
- Support cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Work closely with DevOps, networking, and development teams
- Maintain and monitor cloud-based and on-premises production environments
Required Skills
- Strong Linux admin experience (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
- Hands-on with shell scripting (Bash/Python)
- Familiar with monitoring tools: Nagios, Zabbix, etc.
- Expertise in LVM, RAID, DNS, DHCP, NFS, VPN, etc.
- Understanding of virtualization (VMware, KVM)
- Knowledge of networking protocols and security
- Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Preferred Qualifications
- RHCSA / RHCE Certification
- Prior experience in production environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
