About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time Python/Django Backend Intern to support our AI/ML products and solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in backend development while contributing to real-world AI-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, and AI) to build backend systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and microservices using Python and FastAPI.
• Optimize databases for data storage, retrieval, and management.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement practices.
• Troubleshoot backend issues and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
• Stay updated on backend technologies and industry best practices.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of Python and Django.
• Experience with FastAPI and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases.
• Previous internship in backend development is mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site 6-month internship.

Eligibility

• Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a technical degree program.
• Preferred for graduating batch of 2024–2025 who are not yet employed.
