Job Description:

Würth IT India is seeking a Linux and Unix System Administrator to support and manage a global IT landscape. The role focuses on the installation, upgrade, administration, and operation of Linux (RHEL) and Unix servers, print servers, and virtualized environments (VMware, KVM/RHEV).

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade, and operate RHEL systems
• Manage VMware and KVM environments
• Provide end-to-end support for Unix/Linux servers in global datacenters
• Operate and troubleshoot Unix print servers (lpd, AIX QDEAMON, CUPS)
• Integrate Linux/Unix servers with SAP environments
• Support global project execution and technical tasks

Skills Required:

• Linux and Unix troubleshooting and maintenance
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), IBM AIX
• VMware vCenter, KVM, Logical Volume Management
• Apache Web Server, MySQL, Ansible, Identity and Cluster Management
• UNIX Shell Scripting, File System Management
• Experience with database backups and automation

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to independently complete assigned technical tasks
• Flexibility to learn new technologies and adapt to shift requirements
