Role Overview

The Associate DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, releasing, running, and distributing software and software-defined infrastructure. This includes hands-on contributions to CI/CD pipelines, software packaging, troubleshooting, and automation.

You will work closely with feature teams, cloud environments, and data centers, ensuring reliable software deployment and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for software build, test, and deployment.
• Build and deploy automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Apply best practices for system hardening, configuration management, and secure workflows.
• Collaborate with feature teams to troubleshoot build, test, and performance issues.
• Engage with customers to support seamless data center or cloud deployments.
• Continuously evaluate emerging DevOps tools and technologies.
• Advocate for quality metrics, tooling, and process improvements.
• Provide guidance with a consultative approach to clients regarding risks and opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) – Required.
• Technical Degree – Preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience – Required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience – Preferred.
• Familiarity with enterprise networking concepts (routing, switching, firewalls).
• Knowledge of web application infrastructure (DNS, CDN, load balancers, reverse proxies, microservices).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Compose).
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with advanced Git operations and branching techniques.
• Willingness to travel domestically (up to 10%).

Salary Range

• $67,000 – $85,000 annually (based on experience, skills, location, and certifications).
• Additional bonus and incentive opportunities may be available.
