Job Overview:

Woodward is seeking an Application Engineer to support engineering and manufacturing processes. This role involves testing customer/internal hardware and software, assisting in creating BOMs, wiring diagrams, schematics, test plans, O&M manuals, and supporting process improvements across projects. You'll gain exposure to real-world manufacturing, operations, procurement, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and troubleshoot customer/internal hardware/software setups.
• Assist in creating and updating BOMs, wiring diagrams, schematics, and documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and execute V&V test plans.
• Support PLC processes and department-level procedures.
• Validate equipment for customer-specific applications.
• Collaborate across disciplines including operations, procurement, and program management.
• Assist in the selection and interfacing of third-party hardware.
• Support field engineering teams and resolve field issues.
• Implement process improvements and standard reporting.
• Gain familiarity with GAP application software for testing and debugging.

Candidate Profile:

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn from senior experts.
• Understanding of electrical schematics, wiring, and basic software testing.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in manufacturing and engineering teams.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to team collaboration.
