Job Description:

Join the Helix Virtualization Platform (HVP) and VxWorks development teams to build robust test frameworks for safety-critical, embedded system products. You'll work on end-to-end test lifecycle development for real-time operating systems used in aerospace, industrial, and automotive environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and certify test frameworks and environments for VxWorks and HVP
• Collaborate with system architects and product management to refine testing features
• Work on board-level test development for ARM and IA platforms
• Drive test strategy design and automation improvements
• Participate in global software engineering initiatives and agile workflows
• Improve product reliability and support safety-critical industry demands

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python
• Good understanding of embedded systems and firmware integration
• Familiarity with real-time OS concepts (RTOS fundamentals)
• Experience in board-level/system-level software testing
• Good grasp of design patterns, OOPs, and automation frameworks
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written in English)
• Scripting experience with Python

Preferred / Good to Have:

• Embedded systems certification from reputed institutions (e.g., Cranes, Vector)
• Experience with automation tools and continuous integration workflows
• Exposure to safety-critical system testing (automotive, aerospace, etc.)
