About the Role
Williams-Sonoma India is hiring Associate DevOps Engineers (0–2 Years). This is an entry-level opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career professionals with a strong interest in cloud computing, DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting languages.
As an Associate DevOps Engineer, you will support senior engineers in setting up and maintaining build, deployment, and monitoring pipelines. You will gain hands-on experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, cloud platforms, and CI/CD tools while contributing to real-world retail, eCommerce, and supply chain platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application builds and deployments.
- Support configuration and management of on-premise VMs and Kubernetes clusters.
- Learn and apply scripting in Python, Shell, or Groovy to automate tasks.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of build and deployment issues.
- Participate in code reviews and technical documentation.
- Monitor the health of CI/CD tools and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to adopt DevOps best practices.
- Continuously expand knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of:
- Virtual Machines & On-Prem Infrastructure
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals)
- CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
- Version Control Systems (Git/GitHub)
- Exposure to Python and one scripting language (Shell/Groovy).
- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Eligibility
- Experience: 0–2 Years (internships and academic projects included).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
