Role Overview:
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will build, maintain, and optimize the backbone of Wheebox's cloud-based systems. You will design, implement, and manage architecture, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness while collaborating with other teams for seamless operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for seamless operations.
• Linux Command-Line Tools: Utilize Linux command-line tools to manage cloud infrastructure efficiently.
• Kubernetes & Auto Scaling: Implement and manage Auto Scaling of infrastructure using Kubernetes.
• Monitoring & Alerts: Set up alerts and monitoring systems to ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure.
• Cost Optimization: Optimize costs and resource utilization, particularly with Redis.
• Containerized Applications: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• System Health Monitoring: Monitor system and application health to proactively address potential issues.
• Security Enhancement: Enhance security through threat modeling, penetration testing, and static analysis.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Travis.
• Regression Testing Support: Provide infrastructure support for multiple suites of regression testing.

Desired Skillset:

• Linux Command-Line Tools: Hands-on experience with Linux command-line tools and cloud infrastructure management.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Alerts & Monitoring: Proficient in setting up alerts, monitoring system health, and utilizing cost optimization techniques.
• Security Practices: Familiarity with security practices, including threat modeling, penetration testing, and static analysis.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Travis.
• Certifications (Preferred): Certification in AWS, Azure, multi-Cloud, GCP, or RedHat is a plus.
