Job Description
Western Union is hiring a Junior Associate, Solution Engineering in Pune to help ensure service delivery through a predefined framework. The intern will be involved in developing quality assurance test cases/scripts for verifying system artifacts in line with project needs. Expertise in functional and test automation is required.
Role Responsibilities:
- Decompose requirements and develop test automation/manual scripts for projects of varying complexity
- Develop automation scripts with efficiency, maintainability, and reusability in mind
- Ensure adherence to software quality best practices, including test case development, execution, and defect tracking
- Actively participate in process improvements and demonstrate a mature problem-solving approach
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Experience testing web-based and mobile applications
- Knowledge of Functional/Regression/E2E testing
- Familiar with Agile and Iterative development methodologies
- Experience with test management systems (e.g., Jira Zephyr)
- Proficient in BDD Cucumber, Selenium, and Core Java
- Hands-on experience in Web/Mobile automation for Angular or React applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams
