Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-based deployments using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps processes to support continuous delivery and integration in a secure and scalable cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (VSTS).
• Version Control: Manage source code versioning using Git and GitHub/Azure Repos.
• Infrastructure Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Azure Services: Configure and monitor Azure services like Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, and VMs.
• Containerization: Implement containerization using Docker and deploy on AKS or Azure Container Instances.
• Release Management: Set up and manage build & release pipelines, approvals, and rollback strategies.
• Monitoring: Monitor infrastructure and application health using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• DevSecOps: Apply DevSecOps principles, including secure secrets management and access control.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams for smooth release cycles.
• High Availability & Scalability: Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies are in place.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in DevOps practices, with at least 2 years on Azure.
• Proficiency: Strong experience with Azure DevOps Services (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards).
• Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
• IaC Tools: Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for Infrastructure as Code.
• Version Control: Solid understanding of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.
• Agile Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or similar certification.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor for monitoring and alerting.
• Networking & Security: Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and Azure security best practices.
