Job Description:
Join WeAssemble, a fast-paced global startup, as a Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer. Take ownership of our observability systems, streamline deployment processes, and respond to production issues with autonomy. This role is perfect for experienced engineers seeking high-paying IT roles with startup agility and remote DevOps jobs flexibility.

You'll be the first responder for production stability and lead efforts in deploying reliable infrastructure using AWS, CloudWatch, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. If you're a proactive problem solver and comfortable with the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observability & Alerting: Build and maintain Grafana dashboards, CloudWatch alarms, and OpenTelemetry traces
• Issue Triage & Response: Be the frontline for resolving production issues, improving uptime and performance
• Infrastructure & Automation: Enhance CI/CD pipelines, ensure optimal infrastructure health
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Increase test coverage and prevent regressions through automated checks

Performance Metrics:

• Incident triaging, trace ID investigations, and reduced system noise
• Improved production uptime, automated deployments, and faster error resolutions
• Enhanced test coverage and deployment confidence

Candidate Requirements:

• 3+ years working with Node.js, TypeScript, React, AWS, and DevOps toolchains
• Experience with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and observability practices
• Previous startup or agile experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across global time zones (1:30 AM – 10:30 PM IST)
• Bonus: Code review experience and familiarity with deployment workflows
