Role Overview
Waveum is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize high-availability, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on Azure cloud engineering, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices with an SRE mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure using Azure VM, AKS, App Service, Storage, VNet, Key Vault, Monitor, and Azure DevOps
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices and web applications using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
• Implement configuration management and deployment strategies using Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and cloud cost optimization
• Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline releases and promote DevOps best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve system reliability (SRE mindset)
• Enforce security and compliance: IAM, RBAC, secrets management, NSGs, vulnerability remediation
• Scan CI/CD pipelines for CVEs and enforce security checks
• Configure alerts and notifications for pipeline failures and security findings

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and automated testing
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container-based deployments
• Strong skills in Terraform, Bash/PowerShell, and YAML configurations
• Experience managing Linux and Windows servers in cloud environments
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and distributed system performance tuning
• Strong understanding of DevOps culture, cloud-native development, and release automation
• Familiarity with Helm and ArgoCD

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
