Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
• Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to ensure reliable and smooth software releases
• Monitor system performance, application health, and cloud infrastructure
• Assist in troubleshooting production and staging environment issues
• Support deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using Shell scripting and DevOps tools
• Write and maintain Bash/Shell scripts for automation and system maintenance
• Work with Docker to build, run, and manage containerized applications
• Follow DevOps best practices, security standards, and compliance guidelines
• Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation for workflows and configurations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals and command-line operations
• Basic knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts
• Understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and culture
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems
• Basic exposure to any CI/CD tools such as:
  • Jenkins
  • GitHub Actions
  • GitLab CI
  • Drone CI
• Basic knowledge of at least one Cloud Platform:
  • AWS
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Good to Have Skills

• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Willingness to learn Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools:
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
• Scripting knowledge in Shell or Python
• Experience with Docker Compose
• Exposure to Monitoring and Logging tools:
  • Grafana
  • Prometheus
  • ELK Stack
  • New Relic
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Academic projects, internships, or labs related to DevOps, Cloud, or Automation
