Job Summary
Vertafore is seeking an Entry-Level SQL Server Developer to join our team! If you have a strong understanding of SQL programming and relational databases, and you're eager to grow in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Assist in designing, constructing, and implementing database systems.
✅ Write and optimize SQL statements for data access and retention.
✅ Debug and optimize existing and new database code.
✅ Document database processes for reporting purposes.
✅ Work closely with developers to integrate databases with applications.
✅ Perform tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
What We’re Looking For
✔️ 0.5 – 1.5 years of experience with SQL Server.
✔️ Strong understanding of SQL programming & relational databases.
✔️ Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) & Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
✔️ Excellent problem-solving skills & attention to detail.
✔️ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
✔️ Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Bonus Skills (Preferred, but not required)
➕ Experience with database design & development.
➕ Knowledge of data modeling & normalization.
➕ Understanding of database security best practices.
➕ Familiarity with data migration & synchronization.
