Job Role: L1 – Cloud Support Engineer

Location: Ernakulam, Kerala 682011
Experience: 6 months – 1 year
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹3 LPA (Approx.)

Velodata is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer (L1) to provide frontline support for cloud-based infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and proactive monitoring of multi-cloud environments (AWS & Azure). You’ll collaborate with senior engineers to ensure reliable and secure cloud operations for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain AWS / Azure cloud infrastructure uptime and health.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to compute, storage, and networking.
• Perform routine cloud deployments, patches, and maintenance tasks.
• Automate operational workflows using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 support for client environments and internal systems.
• Participate in cloud migration and configuration rollout projects.
• Follow cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Document incident reports, standard procedures, and knowledge-base articles.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6 months–1 year of hands-on experience in cloud support / system administration.
• Practical knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiar with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, etc.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and analytical skills.
• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Azure Administrator are a plus.

• Incident and change management knowledge (ITIL foundation preferred).
• Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and container services.
• Awareness of cloud security, IAM policies, and network access control.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
