Job Overview – Cloud Engineer (Entry Level)

We are hiring Cloud Engineer Freshers who are passionate about cloud computing, infrastructure automation, and modern IT operations. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP while working alongside senior cloud engineers on real-world production systems.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will support cloud infrastructure deployment, monitoring, security, and automation, gaining exposure to high-availability systems, scalable architectures, and DevOps practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Operations

• Assist in deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Support cloud services including compute, storage, networking, IAM, and security services.
• Work on virtual machines, containers, load balancers, and cloud networking components.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting incidents related to cloud resources, OS, networking, and application performance.
• Support basic logging, alerting, and monitoring tools.

Automation & DevOps Support

• Assist in automation and scripting using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows under guidance.
• Learn and work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation tools.

Security & Best Practices

• Follow cloud security best practices, access control, and compliance guidelines.
• Assist in implementing backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
• Maintain documentation and follow cloud governance standards.

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of cloud compute, storage, networking, and IAM fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Linux or Windows operating systems.

DevOps & Automation (Basic)

• Awareness of containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes – preferred).
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts is an added advantage.

Networking & Systems

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, subnets, firewalls).
