Role Overview
Join UPS Technology, part of a Fortune Global 500 company, as an Intermediate Applications Developer working on enterprise-scale projects that move over 38 million packages daily. You’ll use your skills in .NET, Azure, SQL Server, and API development to design, code, and maintain scalable, business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, code, test, and document moderate to complex applications
- Build and maintain backend/frontend systems using .NET and Azure
- Develop secure, scalable APIs and microservices
- Interface development using Angular 12+
- Implement Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) for containerized app management
- Create system documentation, technical specs, and integration builds
- Collaborate in Agile development teams using Jira or similar tools
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing
- Ensure application reliability, security, and compliance
- Monitor and support live applications and manage deployments
- Participate in technology evaluations for future project upgrades
Technical Skills Required
- 4+ years of .NET development experience
- 5+ years experience developing REST APIs
- Proficient in Azure, Azure Microservices, and IIS/WCF
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Data Modeling
- Hands-on with Angular 12+, HTML, and Object-Oriented Design
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
- Agile development process familiarity
- Excellent debugging, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Swagger/OpenAPI documentation experience
- Exposure to third-party integrations
- Strong business acumen and ability to work in cross-functional teams
