Job Description:

Unisys is hiring a Cloud (AWS, Azure) Engineer to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure for internal teams. The role involves working with AWS & Azure, ensuring performance, security, and cost optimization while collaborating with technical teams to implement best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage AWS & Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of cloud solutions.
• Identify and resolve cloud configuration & performance issues.
• Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into infrastructure solutions.
• Manage and operate cloud security, governance, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, etc..
• Administer AWS services (IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, backups, storage).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance cloud deployment processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of AWS & Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with IaaS, SaaS & PaaS (VM, EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• AWS cloud infrastructure administration – IAM roles, service policies, storage, backups.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (VNET, VPC, VPN, DNS, WAF, etc.).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with serverless architecture.
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices & CI/CD pipelines.
• Certification in AWS / Azure (Solutions Architect or equivalent).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK stack).
• Basic understanding of cloud security best practices.
