Job Description

Trimble is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join our Cloud Security and Operations team. You will play a key role in managing security, compliance, backups, patching, automation, and disaster recovery across AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement security controls across AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Document implementations using technical documentation and runbooks
• Configure and manage cloud-native security solutions
• Monitor networks, endpoints, and cloud workloads
• Create and execute patch management plans for Windows, Linux, and applications
• Develop and deploy backup strategies using AWS/Azure Backup
• Perform disaster recovery tests and coordinate with stakeholders for incident readiness
• Automate patch management for Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, AKS, and Elastic Beanstalk
• Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to meet cloud security goals
• Support audit and vulnerability assessment responses
• Maintain standard operating procedures and support cloud security operations

Candidate Requirements

• 2+ years experience in cloud security (AWS and Azure preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or PowerShell
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
• Familiar with serverless and containerized architectures (Lambda, ECS, EKS)
• Understanding of networking, storage, and cloud-native security features
