Job Overview:
Travelopia is seeking a motivated SQL Product Engineer to join their diverse, global technology team. You will write and optimize SQL queries, maintain database security and availability, and collaborate with developers to ensure smooth application operations. The role supports remote and hybrid working models and offers excellent career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, optimize, and maintain in-application SQL statements
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of SQL databases
• Manage database upgrades, backups, recovery, and migrations
• Profile server resource usage and optimize accordingly
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex environment and application issues
• Collaborate closely with developers and support engineers
• Participate in full lifecycle application development from design to operations

Required Skills:

• Strong SQL query writing and SQL Server management experience
• Experience in a SQL DBA role with performance tuning skills
• Familiarity with relational database methodologies and CDC implementations
• Proficiency with Git version control
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services
• Programming fundamentals with .NET experience
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with international teams
