Job Title: Associate Engineer, Data Development
Role Type: Hybrid (Minimum 2 days a week in-office)


Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop standardized data models, define data types, and establish relationships between database attributes.
  • Use tools like MSSQL, TSQL, PostGres, and Python for data mining, analysis, and visualization.
  • Build complex algorithms and data transformation logic using SQL to load data into relational databases, generate data extracts, and produce reports.
  • Write complex SQL queries for data manipulation, including insertion, deletion, and updates.
  • Ensure production processes meet defined standards and maintain detailed documentation, operational manuals, and runbooks.
  • Review code to ensure accuracy, adherence to standards, and optimized performance.
  • Collaborate with functional teams (onshore and offshore) to resolve product-related issues.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Escalate any issues or risks to management and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Monitor the progress of daily, weekly, and monthly processes, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
  • Provide timely updates to the team to address potential risks early and inform clients of any concerns.

Skills and Requirements

  • Proficiency in MSSQL, TSQL, PostGres, Python, and advanced SQL skills.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database attributes, and relationships.
  • Experience in optimizing queries to minimize processing time.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Information

  • Hybrid work model: Requires at least 2 days of in-office attendance each week.
  • Ensure all tasks align with business SLAs and agreements.
  • Maintain a proactive approach in identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
