Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain resilient and scalable features in Toast’s Fintech products.
• Champion best practices in SDLC & CI/CD processes.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing.
• Monitor and optimize deployed features for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, UX designers, and QA teams to develop innovative solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to high-quality team output.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (Java, Kotlin, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Experience building backend services & APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Distributed Systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
