🔹 Job Description:

The L1 Service Desk Engineer serves as the first point of contact for IT support. You will provide prompt and courteous technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and escalate complex problems as needed.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Respond timely to service desk calls, emails, and tickets
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Identify and prioritize incidents per SLAs and escalate when necessary
• Provide password resets, account unlocks, and basic user account management
• Guide users through technical resolutions and educate on IT best practices
• Monitor system alerts and perform routine maintenance like software updates
• Report recurring issues to higher support levels for investigation

🔹 Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 1+ year experience in help desk or technical support
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and network fundamentals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude for IT issues
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively
