Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Developer to join their Corporate Infrastructure and Security team. This role focuses on building scalable and automated Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions, contributing to enterprise-wide efficiency and innovation.
You'll be working on integrations across public and private clouds, enterprise systems, and automation platforms like Terraform, ServiceNow, and StackStorm.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations between infrastructure systems and enterprise platforms
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Architect and select tools, frameworks, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver automation
- Document systems, APIs, and workflows
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and automation projects
- Solid understanding of IaC principles and DevOps workflows
- Experience with tools like:
- Terraform (Highly Preferred)
- Ansible, Jenkins, Vault, ServiceNow, StackStorm
- Experience working with cloud platforms:
- AWS, Azure, VMware
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in distributed environments
