Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage Azure cloud infrastructure, support Linux servers, automate deployments, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with senior engineers and developers to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable software delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure: Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services
  • Implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
  • Manage Linux servers, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and system administration
  • Automate repetitive tasks using Bash or Python scripting
  • Containerize applications with Docker and assist in managing Kubernetes clusters (AKS)
  • Support development teams by maintaining consistent build and release environments
  • Implement basic monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices on Azure infrastructure
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on automation, deployments, and environment setup

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a cloud/automation role
  • Hands-on knowledge of Azure services: VMs, Storage, AKS, App Services, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps
  • Strong Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash/Python) skills
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with Docker and container concepts
  • Basic networking knowledge: DNS, load balancing, firewalls
  • Eagerness to learn Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep)

Nice To Have

  • Experience with monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus
  • Basic understanding of Kubernetes and Helm charts
  • Exposure to Windows Server environments
  • Microsoft Certification: Azure Fundamentals / Azure Administrator Associate

  • Quick learner, adaptable to new technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying automation opportunities

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
