The Hanover, a 170-year-old insurance industry leader, is hiring an Associate Cloud DevOps Engineer to join its growing cloud operations team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals looking to build a career in cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and enterprise-level IT systems.

This is a remote-friendly DevOps job with flexible hybrid options available in Massachusetts (Worcester).

✅ Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Automate deployment workflows and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) — Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform
• Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes (AKS) for orchestration
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and availability
• Enforce cloud security best practices and compliance standards
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline deployment

🧠 Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in Cloud DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong scripting abilities: Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with IaC tools like ARM/Bicep or Terraform
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
