Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our large-scale systems. This role requires deep expertise in Linux, DNS, TCP/L7 proxies, Kubernetes, and automation to maintain robust, highly available infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale, high-availability systems
- Optimize CPU thread management, memory, and kernel performance
- Implement scalable DNS architectures with DNSSEC, DHCP, and BIND
- Manage TCP/L7 proxy solutions like NGINX, HAProxy, and Squid
- Automate configuration using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf, and Splunk
- Deploy and manage applications with Kubernetes
- Troubleshoot issues across CDN, load balancers, storage, OS, network, virtualization, and app/DB stacks
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Github CI/CD
- Collaborate with dev teams to align system design with business goals
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for critical system support
Required Skills:
- Strong Linux fundamentals, performance tuning, and kernel knowledge
- Expertise in DNS and TCP/L7 proxy technologies and automation tools
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes container orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting/programming: Python, Shell, Golang
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience configuring and monitoring CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
