About the Program

TCS B.Sc Ignite and Smart Hiring is a nationwide hiring initiative for graduates from science backgrounds. It is aimed at candidates who may not have traditional engineering degrees but have strong aptitude and passion for technology.

Students from both Ignite and Smart Hiring will take a single, integrated test. Based on performance, they will be shortlisted for one of the two programs.

TCS Ignite

A specialized program called "Science to Software" that offers:

TCS Smart Hiring

• Exposure to real-world client projects and collaborative work environments

Assessment Details

• Duration: 120 minutes
• Mode: In-centre only
• Sections:
  • Numerical Ability
  • Verbal Ability
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Coding (Optional)

Seats at test centres are allotted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Preferred test cities may not be available if filled.

Eligibility Criteria

• Courses: Full-time graduates from BCA, B.Sc (CS, IT, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Statistics, Data Science, Biochemistry, Cyber Security), B.Voc (CS/IT)
• Academic Performance: Minimum 50% in Class 10, Class 12, Diploma (if applicable), and Graduation
• Backlogs: No active backlogs at the time of test or joining
• Gap in Education: Not more than 24 months with valid documentation
• Course Type: Only full-time courses considered. NIOS (10th or 12th) eligible if other courses are full-time
• Age: Between 18 and 28 years
• Work Experience: Freshers preferred. If experienced, details must be disclosed with valid proof
