Key Responsibilities

System Deployment

• Deploy and configure complex open-source technology stacks including Java, PostgreSQL, Python, and Node.js on local and cloud-based Linux servers.
• Support scalable architectures designed for high-traffic platforms.

Infrastructure Management

• Maintain server health and performance across globally used applications.
• Diagnose and resolve network latency, disk usage, CPU bottlenecks, and server outages.
• Ensure maximum uptime and reliability.

Automation

• Write Bash scripts and basic Python automation tools to eliminate repetitive operational tasks.
• Improve infrastructure efficiency through automation-first practices.

Monitoring & Reliability

• Implement logging and monitoring tools to proactively detect issues.
• Maintain platform availability using modern site reliability engineering practices.

Containerization

• Learn and manage Docker containers to support modular, portable deployments.
• Assist in building scalable infrastructure environments.

Technical Skills Required (Essentials)

Linux Mastery

• Strong command-line expertise including SSH, systemd, permissions, package management, and process control.

Networking Fundamentals
