Team Overview:

The Enterprise Tech team at Target builds innovative technology solutions, unlocking value for team members, guests, and suppliers. The Sr Engineer for SAP will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales Audit & Accounts Receivable Product, driving technical excellence for SAP CAR and S/4 HANA.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical anchor for the engineering team supporting Sales Audit & Accounts Receivable in SAP CAR and S/4 HANA.
• Develop and optimize application architecture for SAP Accounts Receivable functionality.
• Own and implement architectural changes to improve service quality and accelerate feature development.
• Lead integration of SAP with other modules and third-party tools using SAP Integration Suite.
• Demonstrate expertise in SAP ABAP, Fiori, and modern SAP technologies.
• Write scalable and secure code with a focus on high throughput and low latency.
• Optimize systems for performance and operational health.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Education: 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 4+ years in software development with at least two full cycles of S/4 HANA implementation.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proven hands-on experience in SAP Accounts Receivable (Collections Management, Cash Application, Dunning, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP (RICEFW, Modern ABAP - RAP, UI5, Fiori).
  • Experience with SAP Integration Suite and SAP module integration.
  • Familiarity with industry trends in SAP technologies.
