Core Purpose of the Role
Track and ensure accountability for shift activities and lab operations, particularly outside general working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor overnight and hydrogenation lab reactions
• Fill and prepare inorganic chemicals used in lab activities
• Provide lab gases (oxygen, argon, CO₂, ammonia) as required
• Manage toxic material quenching and transportation
• Monitor and record lab cold room temperatures
• Monitor fresh solvent filling
• Attend to emergencies from unexpected incidents
• Switch off unused instruments and equipment
• Prepare scrubber solutions for various lab areas

Safety & Compliance Expectations

• Adhere to Syngene’s safety and quality protocols at all times
• Complete mandatory safety, health, and data integrity training
• Drive a culture of safety and operational discipline
• Take accountability for safety metrics and goal achievements

Skills and Capabilities

• Good oral and written communication
• Proficiency in computer basics, Excel, PowerPoint
• Understanding of outbound/inbound logistics, SEZ documentation, and purchasing/warehouse operations
• Knowledge of US-related documentation preferred
• Basic understanding of departmental and project goals
• Takes ownership and responsibility for deliverables

Educational Qualification

• B.Sc degree (any relevant stream)
