About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. The role involves maintaining and supervising high transaction volume Java Enterprise Edition applications developed by Syncron.

You’ll be handling customer cases reported and managed through a case management tool, providing proactive supervision for Syncron applications, and resolving technical and business inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical and Business Support to customers
• Configure Syncron products to meet customer needs
• Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements
• Identify and report enhancements, bugs, and customer feedback
• Manage cases to ensure timely issue resolution using the Syncron ticketing tool
• Conduct fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues
• Publish documentation in the Knowledge Base and create/maintain issue logs
• Ensure SLAs are adhered to at all times

What We Expect

• 1–2 years of experience in Technical Support
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Experience in IT, SQL knowledge (preferred: PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with basic XML and data formats
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Willingness to work in US shifts

Desired Skills

• Experience with Docker, Jenkins, and AWS hosted applications
• Business knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• Knowledge of Java Enterprise Edition solutions or another object-oriented programming language
• Experience with bug-fixing and reading Java source code
• Practical experience with Eclipse or similar development platforms
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
