Job Description:

Synaptics is looking for a Wi-Fi Driver/Firmware Developer to join its Wi-Fi Software Engineering team. You'll work on cutting-edge wireless networking products and contribute to the development and enhancement of next-generation IoT WLAN products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wi-Fi driver and firmware design/development for IoT WLAN chips
• Implement upper MAC protocols and Wi-Fi features (802.11 standards)
• Firmware development in RTOS & Linux driver development
• Troubleshoot firmware and host driver issues
• Work on pre-tapeout qualification, silicon bring-up, performance optimization

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in C programming
• Linux kernel programming & RTOS concepts
• Embedded systems architecture understanding
• Hands-on with Wi-Fi driver/firmware development
• Ability to collect and analyze Wi-Fi sniffer traces
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills
• Proactive and team-oriented mindset
