Job Description:

Join Synaptics, a global leader impacting billions of people daily through innovative IoT technology. As a Software DevOps Intern, you will work with the Bluetooth Product Line team to develop and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) systems and test automation for wireless audio products.

You will gain hands-on experience with CI scripting, automated testing frameworks, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance software engineering workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve Continuous Integration (CI) systems for Bluetooth Low Energy firmware
• Develop automated CI build, test, and reporting scripts
• Create and maintain test harnesses for wireless audio system testing
• Participate in software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, peer reviews, and documentation
• Collaborate with engineering management and cross-functional teams to improve processes

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant BS degree program
• Proficient or familiar with C and Python programming
• Experience with makefiles, Arm toolchain, Git, Jira, Confluence is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with ability to learn quickly and work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without restriction
• Willingness to undergo background check
