DevOps Engineer (Python, Kubernetes, Prometheus) - Swisscom
Location: Hybrid, Rotterdam, Netherlands
Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 per year

Job Description
We are the cloud transformation team that owns the observability capability using the LGTM stack (Grafana, Mimir, Loki & Tempo) for all migrated cloud-native applications to AWS. You will collaborate with your teammates to develop and enhance the solution and help educate the community in improving observability skills.
What impact will you have?
- Collaborate closely with other teams to employ automation tools.
- Contribute to the knowledge base of migration teams following the SRE approach.
- Work with GitOps CI/CD, observability, and more.
Job Requirements
- Deep expertise with observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana stack).
- Expertise in telemetry standards and observability patterns.
- Experience in software engineering (Golang, Python).
- Hands-on experience with the Kubernetes stack.
- Cloud experience, preferably with AWS technologies.
- Degree in computer science or equivalent working experience.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Self-organized, motivated, and high-quality standards.
- Open to learning new things and sharing ideas.
