About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who excels in AWS, Serverless, and CI/CD pipelines. You will be integral to building fast, secure, and scalable systems that power our core products, streamlining deployments, and managing serverless architectures.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, and more).
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing, builds, and deployments.
• Develop and deploy serverless applications using the Serverless.js framework with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Serverless Framework to automate environment setup.
• Integrate security, code quality, and performance checks into the release process.
• Implement and manage observability tools (logs, metrics, alerts) using platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Write and maintain scripts for automation and system maintenance.
• Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to embed DevOps practices into the product lifecycle.
• Maintain documentation on infrastructure, workflows, and incident response processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retros, etc.) and share insights on DevOps improvements.

Who We’re Looking For

Must-Have:

• Solid hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, etc.
• Strong command over GitHub CI/CD workflows, especially GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, with the ability to troubleshoot application issues.
• Real-world experience deploying serverless architectures using Serverless.js framework.

Nice-to-Have:

• Background in software development, understanding clean code and best practices.
• Exposure to multi-cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and advanced monitoring stacks.
• Working knowledge of Terraform or other modern IaC tools.
