What We Do
We are experts in trading essentially all listed financial products and asset classes, with a focus on derivatives trading. Through market making and market taking, we handle millions of trading transactions every day, providing liquidity and ensuring competitive prices for buyers and sellers. Team Overview
The Platform Services team is part of the Compute and Storage Platforms (CASP) team at Susquehanna. They manage over 15,000+ servers and 250+ PB of storage powering critical trading infrastructure.

Joining Platform Services is the first step in building an engineering career with Susquehanna. You will have opportunities to:

Rotate Across Technology Spaces

• Gain exposure to Windows, Linux, Virtualization, Storage, and open-source technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Grafana).
• Work on projects like new environment buildouts, application development, performance tuning, automation, and configuration management.

Work with Mentors

• Get paired with senior engineers to guide your technical growth.
• Collaborate in design sessions, whiteboard problem solving, and project updates.

Address Challenging Technical Problems

• Troubleshoot application, network, and hardware issues.
• Test and implement solutions at scale in labs with over 600 servers.

Engage with Bleeding-Edge Technology

• Evaluate new hardware (servers, network cards, flash storage).
• Work on container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Service Fabric).
• Contribute to high-performance clustered environments powering quantitative trading.

Shift Schedule
This role rotates daily between:

• 7:00am – 4:00pm (Production Lead)
• 9:00am – 6:00pm
• 11:00am – 8:00pm (Late Support)

Applicants must be willing to work rotating shifts.

What We’re Looking For

• BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture, OS, and networking concepts.
• Passion for technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
• Excellent initiative and communication skills.
• Experience with any of the following is a plus:
  • Python, PowerShell, Bash
  • Linux or Windows
  • Building computer systems or networks
• Visa sponsorship is available.
