About the Role

SupportFinity is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to collaborate closely with the software team. The role focuses on automation, system transparency, and DevOps best practices, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on engineering tasks from design to implementation
• Drive adoption of best practices for code health, testing, and maintainability
• Automate processes and work closely with developers to improve systems
• Script tasks related to platform support and service delivery
• Participate in after-hours deployment efforts as needed
• Support development and QA teams during deployments
• Communicate clearly with internal teams; escalate externally as required
• Deliver excellent service to internal and external clients

Required Qualifications

• Experience in the trading industry with understanding of exchange protocols and order lifecycles
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Passion for learning about system infrastructure – hardware, software, and business logic
• Knowledge of Web services and Java Virtual Machines
• Persistent, innovative, and focused on automation and process improvement
• Creative problem-solver with a proactive mindset
